Apposing Named ‘Digital Business of the Year’ in National Awards

Apposing, the leading Liverpool-based mobile and digital creative studio, have been named ‘Digital Business of the Year’ at the 2013 Digital Entrepreneur Awards.

Also nominated for ‘Best use of Mobile’, the studio were pronounced winners at the UK’s only national awards which recognise the ‘online elite’.

The win follows a record nine award nominations for Apposing in the last month. The success of recent apps created for brands such as Nando’s, CSL and Carphone Warehouse has substantially elevated the studio’s profile across the UK.

The news follows a third contract win for Apposing with the research and development arm of multinational consumer goods company, Unilever. The firm have commissioned the studio to develop a system that will allow them to collect data in various formats via a mobile application.

The studio’s growth over the past year has also allowed Apposing to further bolster their team with two new hires, Social Media Marketing Manager, Chelsea Slater, and Web & iOS Developer, Sean Howard.

Apposing won ‘App of the Year’ at the 2013 Prolific North Awards and were also highly commended in the O2 Business of the Year category in the Daily Post Regional Business Awards.
